New GM First Responder Discount Program on Buick and GMC Vehicles

June 11th, 2018 by

On June 1, GM started a new program that provides first responders with a discount on GM vehicles, and as a Buick/GMC dealer, Guam AutoSpot is proud to be a part of that deal.

The program is called the GM First Responder Discount Program and it is available to eligible:

  • Firefighters (Paid or Non-Paid)

  • Police

  • Correctional Officers

  • Federal Law Enforcement Officers

  • EMTs/Paramedics

  • 911 Dispatchers

Eligible parties will need to register through ID.me to be verified for the discounts and receive an Authorization Code. Bring the code and copy of your driver’s license with the license number redacted.

How much is the discount?

The First Responder Program offers supplier discounts, which means that the actual price reduction will vary per model. One example is the 2018 Buick Encore that has an estimated discount of $4,960 off of the starting MSRP of $31,990.

Again, actual discounts will vary based on the vehicle chosen, but you can find out more at gmfirstresponderdiscount.com if you have a model already in mind.

What are the requirements?

GM is using First Responder ID (ID.me) to verify the eligibility criteria of firefighters(paid or volunteer), police, correctional officers, federal law enforcements officers, and EMTs/paramedics. Once the individual has been verified they can obtain an Authorization Code for the discount, and bring the code along with a copy of their driver’s license (with the license number redacted) to the dealership.

The GM First Responder Discount is only available to the first responder and the discount may not be shared. The discount can not be used on a prior purchase. The discount for up to two vehicles er calendar year. Offer valid from 6/1/2018 – 1/2/2019.
